Annuity:
An annuity is a contract between you and an insurance company. Income on annuities is not taxed until withdrawn from the contract, making annuities a tool to save for retirement.
Retirement:
Retirement account that allows you to save money for retirement with certain tax advantages.
CDs:
Certificate of Deposit (CD) are available in maturity terms of one month to five years. Interest is compounded daily and credited monthly.
Education savings:
They are investment programs designed to specifically help people save for college.
